The following rules apply:

• Only 2 people on the raft at a time.
  
• The Father cannot stay with any of the daughters, without their Mother's presence.
  
• The Mother cannot stay with any of the sons, without their Father's presence.
  
• The thief (striped shirt) cannot stay with any family member, if the Policeman is not there.
  
• Only the Father, the Mother and the Policeman know how to operate the raft.
  

To move people, click on them. To move the raft, click on the pole on the opposite side of the river. The solution is possible! THIS IS NOT A TRICK!

i tried it and got it.Try following step which i find:-
1.take policemen and thief
2.bring police back
3.take police and a boy next to river.
4.bring police and thief back
5.take father and boy across the river
6.bring father back
7.take mom and father across the river
8.bring mother back
9.take thief and police back to river
9.bring father back
10.take mom and father across river
11.bring mother back
12.take a daughter and mom back
13.bring police and thief back
14.take police and daughter
15.bring police back and send both police and thief across the the river
